Chicago Cubs Lineup (3/24/26): All Regulars, Cabrera Starting Final Spring Game
This is the final game of spring training and the Cubs are wrapping up with a full lineup of regulars before heading north. They’ve also got Edward Cabrera on the bump for his final tuneup, one everyone hopes will look better than his last time out. The big righty got touched up for seven earned runs on as many hits in just three innings of work last week, but he had only given up one run over three previous outings.
Pete Crow-Armstrong is leading off in center after agreeing to a long-term extension that no one seems to have full details on yet. Michael Busch is at first, Alex Bregman is at third, Ian Happ is in left, and Nico Hoerner is at second. Dansby Swanson takes short, Moisés Ballesteros is the DH, Miguel Amaya is the catcher, and Michael Conforto patrols right field.
Going for the Yankees is Gerrit Cole, who is making just his second appearance of the spring after missing all of last season due to elbow reconstruction. He worked just one inning on 10 pitches against the Red Sox less than a week ago, so this figures to be another very brief outing.
First pitch is at 2:05pm CT on WFAN 660 AM, because why would the Cubs provide a broadcast of the last game from Sloan this spring?
