
Murray, Rojas Among 3 More Cuts as Cubs’ Spring Roster Down to 41
The Chicago Cubs today reduced the Spring Training roster from 44 to 41 players.
Infielders B.J. Murray Jr. and Jefferson Rojas and right-handed pitcher Jeff Brigham have been returned to minor league camp.
Chicago’s Spring Training roster of 41 players consists of 22 pitchers (four non-roster invitees), four catchers (one non-roster invitee), eight infielders (two non-roster invitees) and seven outfielders (three non-roster invitees).
