The news just dropped and it’s not much more then we already knew. Anthony Rizzo sustained a right lateral ankle sprain and will be in a boot for 5-7 days. A timeline for his return will be determined after the immobilization period, but it can be assumed that he’ll be out for a week at the very least. We’ll update more once we hear, but for now, this is about as good news as we could have hoped for.
