Watch: Willson Contreras Throws Out Tying Run From Right Field
Do not run on Willson Contreras. This advice normally only applies when he is behind the plate, but he showed tonight that it extends to when he is playing right field. Melky Cabrera represented the tying run, and he tried to score on a single to right with two outs in the eighth inning. Willson Contreras delivered a perfect laser to Victor Caratini to keep the Cubs lead in tact.
