With the Cubs trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the eighth inning, Javier Báez stepped to the plate with two on. With the crowd buzzing in anticipation, El Mago delivered the clutch hit the Cubs were looking for all afternoon. This hit just happend to land in the bleachers. Javy launched an opposite field home run, the 100th of his career, to put the Cubs on top of the Mets 5-3.
