The Cubs put the pressure on White Sox starter Lucas Giolito right away with a Kyle Schwarber double and walks to both Anthony Rizzo and Javy Báez. Willson Contreras appeared to be the key man in the inning batting with one out, and Willson took care of business in a big way. The Cubs catcher launched a grand slam to put the Cubs up 4-1 and immediately erase the 1-0 deficit for the Cubs. One run off Ivan Nova all night on Tuesday, and four off Giolito in the first inning on Wednesday…baseball, eh?
