Cubs Second Round Pick Chase Strumpf Homers Minutes After Being Drafted

Just moments after the Chicago Cubs drafted second baseman Chase Strumpf, the UCLA hitter blasted a homer deep into left field.

Strumf projects as an above-average-hitter who will take his walks and hit for average, but he doesn’t project to have overwhelming power.
