Watch: Ben Zobrist Making Stellar Plays in Left Field on Sunday Night
Ben Zobrist may be nearing 38 years old, but you wouldn’t have known it watching him play defense on Sunday night. Zobrist made a couple of really nice plays in the outfield to go along with a two-hit evening.
Ben Zobrist — already with an assist for throwing out Carpenter trying to go 1B->3B in 3rd — makes a running, lunging catch to rob Yadi of a hit in the 4th. Play had 45% catch probability per Statcast (4-Star catch).
