Chicago Cubs Lineup (3/13/19): Happ Leads off in Center, Lester Pitching

Ian Happ is back in the leadoff spot and playing center, followed by David Bote at third, Anthony Rizzo at first, and Willson Contreras behind the plate. Cristhian Adames plays second, Addison Russell is at short, Mark Zagunis is in right, Ryan Court is the DH, and Johnny Field plays left.

Jon Lester got roughed up a little bit his last time out, so he’ll be looking to right the ship against one of his old teams as the Cubs return to Hohokam Park to face the A’s. Now that the rotation has come around several times, we’re going to start getting close to regular outings and could see Lester pitch into the 5th inning.

There are only five relievers scheduled to pitch today, so we should also see plenty from Steve Cishek and Brad Brach as the bullpen starts to round into form.

First pitch is scheduled for 3:05pm CT and can be heard on MLB.com.
