Chicago Cubs Lineup (3/3/19): Zobrist Leads Off, Darvish Makes Second Spring Start

Ben Zobrist leads off at second base Sunday afternoon, which could be a preview of the regular season or just a way to max out his plate appearances after arriving late to camp. Or both. Kris Bryant is batting second as the DH, Anthony Rizzo is at first base, Willson Contreras is catching, and Kyle Schwarber is in left.

David Bote is handling third-base duties, Ian Happ is in center, Addison Russell is at short, and Johnny Field is in right. Yu Darvish will be on the mound for the second time this spring and he’ll be looking for better control of the breaking stuff. His fastball velocity was in the mid-90’s during his debut, now it’s a matter of getting better feel for everything.

First pitch from Sloan is at 2:05pm CT and can be heard on either MLB.com (Cubs broadcast) or WGN 720 AM (Sox broadcast).
