Watch: Willson Contreras Cracks Very Loud 3-Run Homer

The Cubs were without a hit two outs into the 4th inning, but they had two on after Jason Heyward reached on an error and Kris Bryant walked. Willson Contreras got down 1-2 against Padres pitcher Brett Kennedy and then made a very loud noise to put the Cubs up 3-0.

I think that’s what Joe Maddon means when he talks about “opportunity hitting.”
