Wrigley Construction Update: Front Gate Gets Makeover

Wrigley Field’s has been supported and decorated by iron arches for…well, forever. But this offseason’s construction includes replacing some of those old iron arches with brand new ones.

You can see the updated features above the Wrigley marquee in the below video from YouTube user the1stMikeC. Also visible just above the new steel are some additional structures near the patio area.

This rehabilitation is part of the last phase of the 1060 Project. Among the improvements and additions are the installation of new premium seating experiences, improvements to the upper level, concession stands, and visitor clubhouse, and the addition of a new bar and bathrooms.
