Watch: Cubs’ First-Round Draftee Nico Hoerner Blasts First Career Homer in Eugene

Nico Hoerner, the Cubs’ 2018 first-round draft pick out of Stanford, has done nothing but hit ever since signing with the Cubs.  Going into Sunday, the 21-year-old shortstop is hitting .438 in 20 plate appearances, and he hit an oppo laser over the fence on Saturday for his first professional homer.

He looks pretty good to me…
