Kyle Schwarber to Host Second Annual Youth Baseball Camp

If you’ve got a young Kyle Schwarber fan at home, this news might be of interest to you. The Cubs slugger has announced the date for his second annual youth baseball camp, which will be held on August 2 at The Ballpark at Rosemont.

Campers will get the chance to interact with Schwarber himself, along with a selection of prep and college coaches from the area. This one-day camp will feature lectures, fundamental baseball skills stations, contests, and games that allow kids to learn while having fun at the same time. Campers will be placed in small groups by age to ensure that each child gets maximum instruction.

You can find more info or get registered at KyleSchwarberCamp.com, but we’ve got a few additional details for you here just in case.

Each attendee will receive:

  • Souvenir autograph from Kyle Schwarber (item provided – outside items not permitted)
  • Camp team photo with Kyle Schwarber
  • Limited-edition Kyle Schwarber Baseball ProCamp t-shirt
  • Additional upgrades available during checkout

The camp actually takes place on a Thursday and the Cubs play the Padres that evening, so maybe you can make a whole day of it with your kid(s). Oh, and one other thing because I know you’ll ask: Mentioning my name will not get you a discount.

Let me know if you get signed up and then follow up with feedback. I really dig stuff like this and would have registered my own son if he wasn’t already back in school by that point.
