Breaking: Kris Bryant is very good at baseball. The third baseman got of to a relatively slow start in the power department, but his 1st inning homer against Wei-Yen Chen was his fourth in seven games and gave him 100 for his career. And he’s doing all of this while increasing his contact rate at an obscene pace.
Folks, please appreciate what you’re seeing here, because Bryant will go down among the all-time great Cubs players. And for you trivia buffs out there, note that KB’s first career dinger came on May 9, 2015, exactly three years ago.
