Watch: Kyle Schwarber Rips Homer Through Wind
When Kyle Schwarber was coming to the plate, Cubs TV man Jim Deshaies mentioned that if the left fielder really got into one, he didn’t think the strong Wrigley winds would be enough to prevent a homer. As if on cue, Schwarbs tested that theory by ripping a line drive home run into the right field bleachers. Schwarber’s third blast of the 2018 season tied things at 1-1 early in Thursday’s finale with the Pirates.
