Watch: Kyle Schwarber Smashes Home Run as Designated Hitter Against Rays

Joe Maddon and the Cubs certainly don’t mind when they play in an American League ballpark. Of course, that’s because they get to utilize the designated hitter position.

Tonight, as we saw in the World Series, that role is being played by Kyle Schwarber. He continues to play well as the DH, hitting a solo home run in the top of the 2nd inning off Rays’ starting pitcher, Chris Archer.
