Cubs Clips: WATCH Jorge Soler Crank a 461 Foot Home Run

It’s something we’ve been talking about for a while now, Jorge Soler seems to be hitting his stride. Joe Maddon has been very patient with Jorge and it really feels like it’s starting to pay off. Consider that Jorge has slashed .286/.412/.571 over his last ten games, not including today’s game which included this enormous bomb, the longest home run this year by a Cubs player…by 20 feet. This baby had an exit velocity of 108.3 MPH – IMPRESSIVE.

I’d say that was pretty convincing proof of Jorge’s tremendous potential and I can only hope that this is the time period we look back to and say ‘that’s when Jorge began his break out.’
