Kyle Schwarber Out For Season with Torn ACL and LCL

The longer we waited for the announcement, the more evident it became that the news was not going to be good. Despite that, I was holding out hope that the delay was due to the MRI machines in the greater Phoenix area being unable to house the massive beast known affectionately as War Bear. And then the news dropped.

Expletives and emptiness, man. There’s not really much else to say at this point, other than this really blows and you hate to see it happen to anyone, let alone a guy who had quickly become a fan favorite. The good news, if there is any, for Schwarber is that he’s got plenty of time to have the knee reconstructed and rehabbed in time for next season. But damn.
