Watch: Willson Contreras Extends Cubs Lead with Two-Run Homer
The Cubs led 1-0 for most of the game on Thursday night, with Zach Davies keeping the Dodgers out of the hit column for five inning (as I type this…). The Cubs were looking for a little insurance when Kris Bryant led off the sixth inning with a walk, and Willson Contreras gave Davies and the Cubs a little breathing room. Willson launched a two-run bomb off Walker Buehler to extend the lead to 3-0.
