Watch: Contreras Blasts 491-Foot HR Off Video Board

With no score in the bottom of the 2nd, Willson Contreras just ambushed a first-pitch fastball from Alex Wood and hammered it off the video board in left. Statcast estimated the distance at 491 feet, the longest postseason homer ever recorded by said service. No exit velo was listed, but it had to have been around 110 mph.

This was the fourth consecutive game in the series in which the Cubs had scored first, each time on a homer. And when Javy Baez popped one out just inside the foul pole, it was the first time the Cubs had scored following one of those homers.
